Megan De Kruijf is half English and half Holland, she started writing songs at 15 and began to act even younger, she’s currently studying Performance Art at Maastricht’s Theater Academy and have played in some quite successful short movies and tv series (as the role of Lara in the award-winning tv show called Hollands Hoop) and all of that introduces us to her world, a dimension where her artistic versatility is better expressed, defining the character of a unique artist.

“Pink Elephant” is her new single, a brilliant triumph of scraping guitars and ruffling synth where Megan’s voice is expressed with grit, determination, and the right amount of weirdness, it’s her second step after the publication of her debut single called “Heroes”, another perfect example of her pop sensitivity and of her own original way of expressing herself artistically, communicating her message with enthusiasm.
Megan and her friend Gaya Nahum founded their music label called Mammy Records to give visibility to female artists in holland music industry. Her debut EP is expected for this year and will be composed of a handful of songs coherently ringed together, with the title “one upon a time something happened and I think was there”, quite a bit of reasons to follow her with all the attention she deserves.
