A song poised between decay and oblivion for the Perspex.

REVIEW

A Horse Named Useless” is a song by the Perspex released a few months ago. The Perspex are from York. Those same Perspex have not given out so many details about their band, only a few photos that portray them at ease inside a lo-fi aesthetic that seems to fit perfectly on them.

Jesus on the Valium” (2019) took us by surprise, with that post-punk drama and that cheeky avant singing, psychedelic and alienating like never before.

Now it’s the turn of “BIG CASH CHILD”, where the guitars drag us vigorously, the voice is dazed, it’s all about toxic atmosphere and sick rock’n’roll, vibrant and tense sounds, everything is adamant punk and very convincing.
