Cool vibes and a warm hug made of natural sounds, this and more in Jericho Noguera’s new EP.

REVIEW

Elephant In The Room”, with its liquid guitar engaged in a floating riff, is one of those songs where the dream comes true. Since the very first track, it’s clear what we can find inside this new EP by Jericho Noguera, a Birmingham artist that intends to give a clear sample of his eclectic song-writing and his stylish and varied range of musical genres, always in the name of a spontaneous modernity.

Talking To You” is a song between neo-soul and indie pop, guitars and electric piano that are soft like cotton candy, voices that blow gently on a burning fire, creating an atmosphere that wraps and warms your soul, an inscription destined to remain imprinted in time.

Let’s Hold Onto This” has electric piano chords that walk on a line of lovely groove, a melting pot of R’n’B sounds that tickles the ear and crawls under the skin, the climax is perfect: the arrangement guides us towards the peak of sonic ecstasy.

Lips Are Blue” has more jazz hues, a bass that has a lot to say and a voice chosen to guide us among the shadows of the soul music dream, let’s not wake up though, in the soft and precious sensation of having found a new artist to follow that, as it seems, won’t let us down.
