Max & Archie are brothers and they come from the South East coast of the United Kingdom and apart from these geographical coordinates and their family bond, they don’t give us much more to deepen our first research on the Pett Level.
Around the web, there are three singles signed by the duo, and if we really had to find a trait d’union among them, it would be the impeccable taste with which they make these modern pop gems that can be pleasant and never too light.
“Small Talk” is a contemporary psychedelia with a brilliant easy listening retro taste, “Red Hot”makes you scream out a miracle with that riff of sytnh behind an irresistible bassline, “New Visions” is white soul for the pure-spirited ones in a state of grace.
It doesn’t happen very often to find music that has something to say and style to sell, but when it happens it’s a duty to report it. Have a good listening.
