Georgia, Niamh, Katie, and Sophie are from Manchester and form the band called Deep Blue, one of UK’s most interesting promises from last year.
The genre is a melodic pop-rock that draws inspiration from the Fleetwood Mac and the Corrs for their ability to orchestrate excellent vocal harmonies and for their effective and solid musical choices.
“Taking on Water” is their debut EP and contains the gems that have sprinkled this past 2021, such as “Jelaous Sea” that immediately drags you in with its beat and vocals that crave the right notes in our collective memory.

Then there is “He Said She Said”, with that guitar arpeggio and that intimate mood where lights effortlessly prevail on shadows; “Inside My Head” follows the formula and keeps on persuading us, making the sound of this all-female Manchester quartet even more familiar.
“Cotton White Linen” is a folk-pop that gives itself a moment of bliss, between gentle breezes of melodious voices and the harmonic solutions of a guitar that composes a calm and reassuring background, like sitting around a fire on an unforgettable summer night.
