REVIEW
Movies are like life, no matter how they end, what matters is that the narrative stands up, one frame after another, moment by moment. “Movie Star” is a pop jewel of emotional romance, co-written by Sasha and Scott Colcombe (Scott Is Okay), a daydream in which, however, everything could fall apart at any given moment.
Sugary notes resound from the first seconds of the song, recalling the Keane of “Everybody’s Changing”, Sasha’s voice is ready to lightly take over, and lightly she leads us through labyrinths full of question marks from a generation that should deal, instead, with exclamation points. But no. We’re not in Hollywood here. Luckily.
