“Timelapse Tulip”; by Jerkcurb, another gem with the unique touch of the South London artist [Review]

REVIEW

A touch of melancholy and a little pinch of bossa nova in Jerkcurb’s recipe for “Timelapse Tulip”. A delicate test of taste and poetry, beautiful harmonies surround an intense and dreamy cantata. There is also space for a female voice that seems to come from an obscure soundtrack by Stelvio Cipriani, or by the more sublime and more mysterious Riz Ortolani.

The South London artist, however, puts on a pop lounge that certainly didn’t go unnoticed, continuing his research into the intricacies of a refined, melodic and at the same time unsettling songwriting. A 3D video more visionary than ever, preceding the release of "Air Con Eden", his long-awaited debut album, scheduled for September 13th.
